Our start began many years ago. The first meeting that would establish the church, Lighthouse Refuge Christian Church, was held on January 8, 2013. The legal and administrative requirements were met, the name was approved by the State of Georgia, and the hunt for a place of worship began.

God sent a young man that offered his “upper room” over his auto garage to be used, and Tuesday night Bible Study started at 7PM each week. There were online searches, visits to schools, hotels, warehouses, and various other buildings, but not a Lighthouse Refuge Christian Church building.

It was quite a feat, but we kept the faith. The children of God know you cannot give in, and you cannot give up. We checked into the availability of this building, got an appointment to look inside, and guess what happened? We were given the keys that same day! Just look at how God works!!
